Julian,

Are you maybe referring to “injection molding”?  if so, I think the tool is
rather expensive, I think at least several thousand USD to get started.  The
only good news is that after the mold is made, each unit can be made for
like 10 bucks each, or something trivial like that.

Im looking to get an idea on how much itlld cost me to get a couple of EDP
wasp cases re-made.

 

This, as far as i can tell, should be simple, apart from making the, is it
called, tool (or pattern?) to begin with.  But i know very little about
vacuum forming.

 

Has anyone got any recommendations here in england?  I have no doubt that
cheaper deals can be had in china, but with the added communication
restrictions, i know ill never get arround to sorting it out.

 

Im aware that this may not be cheap, but id still like to look into it.
