[sdiy] modular synthesizers - another what passes for epiphany in my world

Of course... this is how some / many designers work. The make complex
circuits from simple circuit blocks. Often this is NOT something that
can simple be patched...

but the idea is there. In fact the ARP Mulitmode (1047 iirc) filter
was made with submodules
just like this.

Having these submodules at the modular level would be tough... and expensive

I shudder to think how big a modular I'd need to have 'patched' some of
my larger
designs. otoh... they could be broken down into modules, easily.

how about

Absolute Value Generator
Select highest input voltage from multiple sources
Select lowest ""
Filter
Lag
Invert
Amplify
Log
Expo
Buffer
Suck (that's a BBD module :^)
