Hello Aaron, Students and all,

The clipping in Matt's buchla lp hp cascade as drawn in the upper half
is not going to work. The diodes are directly hanging off the opamp
output. Add a resistor.

On the MS20 Wasp crossbreed the trouble is the comparatively low input
resistance of the inverting amplifiers. Consider going to very high
values of 10Meg or so for the input and feedback resistors and choose
the largest cap that is possible, or this won't be going to low
frequencies. (It might be better to use jFet, darlington or mosfet
followers.) One thing that comes to mind is that the diodes at the
feedback gate might actually be spared. I'd add a switch to select
either the diodes or let the gates softclipping take over.

Cheers,
  René
