Minimonsta oscillators are your standard competently implemented 
bandlimited digital oscillators with some mismatch in pulsewidth etc and 
additional low frequency drift (I know the people behind it). There are no 
techniques in them that are not common knowledge among the experts in the 
field (unfortunately the experts are rarely involved with the most 
profilic VA synthesizers).

Not to say that Minimonsta isn't a good sounding VA, merely pointing that 
there is no magic happening inside.

More often the reason is because that would expose the techniques to be 
basic things that everyone should use and that have been public for 
years. IOW, it would ruin their marketing hype.
