I think all of this analysis is not a just matter of emulation, but 
understanding the reasons why the Moog or any other analogue VCO sounds 
different to a software generated one. Its the science behind it, and 
this is interesting to many.

Personally, I think I can hear the difference between different analogue 
VCOs. Can I describe it? Can I measure it? No I can't, although, for the 
most part, I can see that the waveforms look different on the scope. But 
this is often ringing at the reset, or non linearities in the long slope.

If one can measure key functions repeatedly then we are starting to 
understand the differences. It is by understanding these nuances that 
will allow us to make our synths more musical and more useful.
