[sdiy] wick it, wick it good

In my experience, there seem to be two kinds of wick..
1. the kind that is just straight copper & goes "off" after
a period (presumeably via tarnishing) and
2. a kind coated with resisn (or something similar) that
doesn't go "off".
I don't fluff it.. but, I often ADD fresh solder before 
using it, to get all the stray old solder melted & flowing.
