Oh man..now ..recovering from a tooth extraction.... you've got me going 
in parody mode:

Hotel Synth DIY - (C) me

On the information highway, a cool group I find there
a bunch of circuit tweakers and some who just like to stare
There's a heads up on parts who, are getting harder to find
My wallet's empty and my chip drawers are full, but not enough of that kind.

I get a confiming email, from the listserver's domain
I was thinking "if I read this whole thing... it'll be a real pain"
so I just started posting, and some instructions came back
I think we've heard that topic once too much, but just to keep things sane

til someone gets pissed
Then there's plenty of flames in the hotel synth diy
but most will keep them down, so boy just hang arounnnnddd

Some people here seem twisted, they build the strangest toys
they talk about which circuit designs, make the best farting noise
When we put down our finger, we want a sweet transient
but just to give it a hint more balls, look how much I spent!

So I call for a guru
"Please save me some time"
He said 'that's what you get for seeking what was cool in 1969'
And still I see those postings on DSP's
They get you close enough, just to feel the tease

She said "This things sounds like crap" I said "Wait it's not all fully

And in my designer's chamber
I set the bias increased
The windows shatter as I strike a key
Oh no I think I'm deceased!

Last thing I remeber, she was picking up a sledge
and next thing I knew the whole bunch of stuff was out by the hedge
"Remove" my instruction, Oh list server receive!
She said "looks like you can cease your posting,
but you can never leave!
