soft sync (was: Re: [sdiy] Moogey jitter)

The most remarkable soft sync effect I've heard
comes from the Korg Lambda.
The 3 HF VCOs (which feed the 3 divide-down circuits) tend to lock
at each other easily. But with LFO modulation, they are kicked out
of the locking range again and again. Very nice.
