[sdiy] Another 'view' of the Church of Moog

We did a lot of experiments with the Midwest Electronic Music Ensemble.

Since everybody had Mini-Moogs, we did jams with 4 to 6 people all on
Mini-Moogs.

We also did jams with 4 people all playing ARP 2600s.

We had one with 8 people all playing Serge systems.

The best results we got came from using different people on different
synthesizers in ensemble.

Even though synths are versatile, they still have distinctive tone
colors, so mixing the tone colors together works best musically.

I never met a synth or module I did not like (except the lowpass
filter on the PAIA 2700), I am a member of all the synthesizer
churches, I guess I am just a Unitarian Universalist for
synthesizers. When you play a bunch of different synthesizers
together, boy it just sounds great. Better than if you only use one
type (IMHO).
