An interesting experiment might be to play the same note, say a middle
"C," from Oscillators 1, 2, 3, and 4. Then play another note, say the "A#"
above it, with the oscillators played in scrambled order, and see if the
listener can match them up. Given them the option of relistening to
the original C seqeunce 1, 2, 3, and 4 as much as they want.
On another note, I'm about to request that my entire class, en masse, join
this list so they may receive benefit from the collected sage wisdom of
this list as they start on their final projects. I have asked them to
search the archives in detail before asking questions, to ignore and not
participate in anything resembling a flame war.
I'm sure you'll all set a good example for them now, yes?
