[sdiy] dsPIC interfacing with multiple CODEC chips

Have you considered using a single CODEC that supports more than 2 
channels in/out?

This part appears to support 4 channels ADC & 6 channels DAC over a 
single multiplexed serial bus that may be compatible with the dsPIC 
CODEC port.
