Hi

I have put a web page up with some information on VCO voltage regulation.

Any additions/comments/corrections welcome!

I agree with you that hacking my already built Vcos may be too complicated
For this Vcos I just want to get rid of the LFO Noise so ill try first using
the onboard regulators for my VCOs to get +-12V from the +-15V.

Now, Im planning to build a much better modular synth using better designs
and all the ideas i have read in this list (thank you all).

Im planning to use Ray Wilson's latest design for all my VCOs. Definately i
will use voltage references for all the critical points you have mentioned.
Maybe you guys can help figuring out which points are critical in this
design.

At fist glance seems to me that some critical points may be

1) the voltage divider at the neg input of Ub2 (comparator)

2) the 1 Meg resistor connected to +12 and the emitter of one of the
transistors of the expo pair

3) the freq pots

Will a 10V ref from analog do the job? (perhaps changing some resistor
values). For example the AD587 or REF01

I will really appreciate your help

Benjamin
