[sdiy] PSoCs?

Hey -

Anyone on the list have any experience with Cypress PSoCs? They're
pretty interesting looking, but I could only find a few references to
them in the archives, non of which were related to actual synthesis
applications.

I've ordered a couple of the 8C24123A parts (less than $3.00 ea from
Digi-Key) which have 4 digital blocks and 6 analog blocks, 8 pin DIP,
24MHz MPU, 4k Flash, 256B SRAM, I2C, SPI, etc. The digital blocks look
like they're mainly useful for 8-bit counter & PRN generator operations,
but each analog block can be a 2nd-order switched-cap, PGA, buffer,
inverter, etc.

It seems there might be some SDIY applications for these...

Eric
