I thought about that. Maybe the 5V supply, but the 24V supply is for the
stepper motor(s - if it's the one with the ADF)
This was actually what led me to bring up using TTL or HCMOS with the 5V
supply. One it would lighten the load on the +/-15V supply and TWO it would
put a load on the big part of the supply. It looks like it's all zeners and
LM431's inside. I don't think 431's need much of a load to work.
