[sdiy] Bass pedal to MIDI and stuff

I made a set of Midi bass pedals for a customer of mine a while back. He brought me a standalone set of pedals and a Casio keybd with Midi out and asked if I could make it work. I ended up putting the whole CAsio pcb inside the bass pedal casing and hacking the switches into the matrix on the Casio. Cut a hole for the Din and pwr connectors. Looked pretty trick actually.....I shoulda took pix. Worked great, customer was happy as a clam.
