It's kind of charming and quaint to see a 741 used in anything.  For  
a minute, that chip was THE opamp.  Now, it's like an Underwood  
manual typewriter.  That is, it's noisy, slow, and not very sexy, but  
it's still solid and still gets the job done.

That's a center-tapped pot.  Very useful in synths, and unfortunately  
very hard to find.

I wonder why the pot is labeled as a type "FA".  I will assume that  
the "F" must designate the center-tap, but "A"?  A usually means  
audio taper, but I don't see how standard audio taper would be useful  
in this particular application (fading between three different  
sources) -- unless it somehow has audio taper up until the center  
tap, and then reverse audio taper pst the center tap.  Am I missing  
something here?
