It is my understanding that they do sell to private persons, but you can
only open a credit account with them if you are a company. Without a
credit account, you have to pay in advance, and the minimum order amount
is 50 EUR (excluding tax). Also you have to order by fax only.

In any case that is what they told me at Farnell Netherlands. In case of
doubt, just call the information number on the back of your catalogue.
