When i used the SAD1024 as delay using the very same setup(pan flute)
that i had used for my digital delay i was a bit dissapointed too,
the BBD are not a trugh zero thing therefore it loses in the
charachter and sound depth departmenet compared to the DDL setup,
there was a significant difference in sound. :-(

However the BBD saturates nicely also its self resonace point
are very close to a sinus wave, where the DDL saturates badly
into a square. But both seams to be a bit to long for a long
shot to create sinus and square waves! Heh!
