[sdiy] analogue physical modelling organ dream

I've put all of my half-done projects on hold to work on a project just like
this. I've been calling it "Tiny Pipes".

I'm using 2 or 3 MN3006's for the BBD's and a MN3007 for good measure. The
whole thing is modular so delay lines can be added at whim. I'm concerned
that the MN3006 might actually be too short of a BBD. If so then I'll just
use the 3007's. I've also considered using R5106's.

For the filters I thought Buchla 292C's (X2) & a Synthacon (since I have
those). The 292's can be used as a sort of VCA too which I think would be
perfect for modeling.

As for the tuning woes wouldn't having several voices playing simulyaneously
with vibrato added alleviate this a little? You could dedicate some BBD's
for a small range of octaves and others for another range. All along I've
been convinced that for this to sound good several BBD's would be needed.
Some being used as effects as well. Making it modular would mean that you
could configure it any way you wanted.

This might be a good start:

2 or 3 MN3006's with VC clock and feedback. Whether or not they oscillate
can be voltage controlled.
1 or 2 MN3007's " "
2 to 4 Buchla 292C LPG's
Buchla 291
a noise source
a handfull of VCLFO's (the Somnium LFO that someone posted here a while back
might be good here)

Someone mentioned polyphonic too though right?
Hmm...
