[sdiy] Anybody need knobs for Korg joysticks?

I'm having my machinist do a run of some 'better than original' knobs.
If your bolt is still sticking up, you can tap these and screw them on
like the originals. If NOT, use a dremel grinder to create a center
dent in the remaining metal shaft. Then drill a 1/16" inch hole in it
and super glue in a piece of #14 wire. Then use goop adhesive I
recommend to hold the actual knob onto that shaft sticking up with some
at the base also. When it dries you have a 'rubber band' type
micro-flexibility so that it will not likely break off again but if you
wanted to you can pull it off.

Anyway, these knobs are designed to be optimal for the Sigma. They
are shorter and have a cupped end so that your fingers can operate the
two joysticks at once with ease of control and operate the portamento
button with the middle finger. :-) So anyway if you have a keyboard
with a missing joystick you might consider ordering one of these. $12
ea. Choose between brass, Aluminum, or plastics like Delrin. Delta,
Lambda, and maybe other keyboards can use these via the proceedure
above.. -Bob
