[sdiy] drummachine trigger-length standards?

Hi all, is there any standard in trigger-lengths &
polarity for drummachines? I'm on the verge of cloning
the dr110 voiceboard and it needs 1ms negative-going
triggers. I was thinking that maybe it would be stupid
to "hard-code" this trigger-length and polarity on the
sequencer if there is other standards around since i
want to expand it with several voiceboards in the
end...?
