I agree... HTML is not a good thing for e-mail.  Being on a dial-up
as well, with an aging computer... its annoying to receive a 10x
size e-mail just so someone can share italics or colors with me.

Its even worse on AH which I get in digest mode...

The absolute worst is when someone (fortunately NO ONE from S-diy yet)
send an e-mail with some stupid animated 'emoticon' in it.  That damn near
locks up my computer and for what ???
