I got some neat links from Ian, in one of them there
was a list of PYMO patents at USPTSO, models, algos etc,
i took a peek at some of them and realized that how
can "this" be patentable? And, how can "that" be patentable??
It struck me about the Yamaha Fm story, holding the
entire patent suite for FM, wich was bizzare from the
very begining sin FM are naitive to analog modular
as well as many PYM models are naitive to analog modular!
Using adders to implememt FM might have been patentable
but not FM as is, i.e a function.
So i wonder slightely can anything PYMO be patented
just becuse people "dont see" the possibility that it
"can" implemented in a analog modular?
Its right there in the modular system, just like FM
was naitive to modulars! Wasnt chowning experienced
FM on a modular in the first place back in the sixties?
No im not pro analog per see, im 50 50 dig/ana
but im getting bored by all the VST plugs, its not
heaven, its more like vrist pain, and red eyes"
