[sdiy] Odd noise generator

I've posted about this on AH before, but I figured maybe I'd get more
feedback from sdiy.

I've stumbled upon a very simple circuit that generates some very stange
noise. Not white noise, not filtered noise. In one mode of operation I
know it is RF (and the operating principle is NOT that of the Fessenden
iron/acid rectifier), but in the other, it is not clear. I only know at
this point of 2 people that have done this experience (at least in 1
mode): somebody at the Bremen university (with no success apparently)
after reading my post on VLF, and Nyle Steiner (yes, mr. Synthacon
himself) who has tested one mode (the one that generates the weird noises).

Some information on my "instrument" here:

This page goes deep in the experiment:

If you check out the track "02 - High Point Effect", you'll hear the
mode I'm not sure about. That track is not part of the usual release of
the month section ( http://www.cimastudios.com/fdion/music.html ) but is
in the downloads section:

Comments are welcome on either mode of operations (rectifiying and non
rectifying mode). I'd also would like to hear from anybody who make this
noise generator.
