1A thru 12mils track? That's scarry. It may get hot.
For that current I'd rather choose 100mils minimum.

Handling close to 1A can also mean that the track will
not burn at this current.

With trace widths you describe, I'd assume you work with 0402, TSSOP, QFN or even BGA.
