That's just protection against high voltage plugged into the output.

(People apparently pluf Headphones into module inputs, so
who knows what they might plug into what's intended as an
output ...)

Subject: [sdiy] 902 VCA

Does anyone know what is the DB1 bridge rectifier in the Moog 902 VCA
and where can I get some?
failing that - can I make a bride with discrete diodes? which diodes and
what is the spec? match voltage drop powered or unpowered?
