Well, synths do not smell as bad, and the best farts seem to happen
when all mikes are off. So there's a need to synthesize them.

But I do not trust any story about Pyth as a person, as a lot
of stories were superimposed on him by his fans in later 
decades, ages even.

By the way - maybe this should be another thread... is anyone
using other temperaments then 12 tone equal temperament?
pythagorean? just intonation? wohl temperiert?
