Check the signal with the show/info tool before and after the bend. If 
you used the wire tool instead of the route tool you may have created a 
new signal that now is too close to another signal. That is about the 
only instance I know where Eagle may show such a small error shape that 
you can miss it. Eagle does not connect signals simply because you draw 
them on top of each other.
