Hi Tim,

I have a tip for the "can't-get-rid-of-this-via" problem...

1. use the ripup tool and click on the via : it becomes a little yellow
circle
2. click on the "ratsnest" tool (the yellow cross with 5 green dots) : the
via is gone !

I don't understand the second part of your message... but try the ratsnest
tool again...
