Vote with your feet, man, and don't let the screen door hit you in the butt
on your way through...
I carry a *lot* of yahoo groups here, and their service frankly stinks! Not
to mention the ads, etc.
A while back they stuck an arbitrary size limit in place in their files
sections, with no mention of it anywhere, and then some time later on
removed it, also without saying anything.
Their "photos" sections are also a joke -- only the person posting the photo
and the group owners/moderators have access to the full-sized image,
everybody else gets smaller ones. Though the full-sized image still soaks up
a lot of the available room.
Their space limits are arbitrary, but can be gotten around by starting
additional groups, and I know of a number of folks who have done that, but
it's a PITA to deal with.
Yeah, I use yahoo, but I don't like it much.
