The cheapest midi-cv coverter that I know of is Phil Rees Little MCV. Goes on eBay for about $70-80. Decent features.

  Anyone know of some good cheap midi->CV for use with a homebrew modular?  I don't mind if its in format of external box or of PCB/diy module.. but my only requirement for a PCB is that I can order the (unpopulated) PCB and don't have to etch/whatever myself.  I would prefer something with velocity sensitivity (is this possible?).
