[sdiy] Huge Emu going on the blocks...soon

excuse the X-post.

Ladies/gents,

I have just been made aware of a huge Emu modular which is currently in
storage and the property of a (wishing now to remain anonymous) university
that's about to go up on a private closed bid auction.  The only details I
have about it is it's 10 feet long, 5 feet high and there is some damage to
the keyboard. The system itself appears to be in perfect working order. A
closed bid auction is such that interested persons mail in a bid and at its
close the highest bidder takes all.

The person who's launching this auction is contacting me when the time comes
and has given me the 'hell yeah' to it being posted on the AH/SDIY lists.

In the meantime, outside of it's location I've just told you everything i
know about it. Knowing this, any private communication to me about it will
only prove redundant to the info in this post.
