[sdiy] 93-series TTL logic

Andre',

At a minimum the open-collector drivers - '7406/'7407/'7448's are extremely
useful. The noise immunity, asymmetry and supply requirements do argue for
alternative logic most of the time, but these drivers are tame and powerful
and sneer at their HC/HCT brethren. If i feel the need for TTL i also like
"F" series, lower power, better edges, hi-speed.

regards,
p

I do and other low-tech 8-bit hardware hackers do. If you're going
to trash TTL chips, I will be seen next to your dustbin holding a
wicker basket and trying to look casual. I'll pay for the chips
and shipping if it's cheaper than buying new ones.
