my advice is don't put anything in GND path, God forbid inductor.
It's more than welcome in power supply line, but inductor in ground plane can cause trouble.
Connect all grounds at power entry of the PCB. If digital section is somewhere in the middle, use thick trace, like 200mills or so to lead GND to that point.
