[sdiy] recommendations for bench supply?

This design might be overkill for a bench supply although that's what I'm 
currently using it as.
Mine has been in almost constant use since I built it last Spring and it's 
bulletproof - I beat my PSUs.

Parts for it are cheap and easy to source and you can simplify the design 
somewhat.
