[sdiy] X0xb0x almost working

I am putting mine together now. A few mistakes I have caught:

-Put a TANT in backwards. Oh yeah, they are polarized (duh).
-2 resistors in the filter are a bit confusing. I think it is near
R95 or something? There is no line connecting the 2 pins. But they go
horizontally, not diagnally. Okay, sounds wierd, but if you look at
the 2 resistors on the filter without a line connecting the pins, you
will see what I mean.
-Confusion with 2 of the transitors.. one is "AY" and one is "AO" or something
like that.. otherwise, they look very similar.

I also notice that when I trim my leads, some are still very close to shorting
with other trimmed leads. Double-check that.

Mostly likely, you have have a component in wrong. It might make more
sense just to double check each one since you don't have a scope for
detailed debugging.

Can you hear any audio coming out of the filter?

Which was IC9? Any chance it was fried when you put it in backwards?

Flux rarely causes big problem.

good luck! keep us posted.
