Hi Amos, 

I searched on the web and found that an EL sheet in letter size was almost 
$40 or less. It'll cover up 4U width of MOTM panel. It shouldn't be so 
expensive, but the problem is a hi-voltage inverter which might cause of 
audible noise jump to analog circuit and a life of illumination. Though 
several colors are available... Hmm
