Concentric Pots - was Re: [sdiy] Bad parts!

Ok good news here is they have given me a return authorization so it appears 
I will get my money back. So I guess the company is alright but watch what 
you buy from them.

On to the issue of finding new concentric pots. I have emailed Omeg and 
State Electronics for quotes on 50K dual concentric units to see if it will 
be unGodly expensive to have them made. Granted they may not be hip to such 
a small quantity.

I did find another source that has 14 of these parts I can order to replace 
the 14 I'm sending back. Imagine the odds huh? So I'm covered even if I 
can't get new ones made up. The 14 I found are rather unusual though. They 
have a plain outer shaft and a knurled inner shaft - gonna need to be 
creative when it comes to knobs ;-)
