Well, actually, I was intending for them to laugh, after all it was a balloon
and paper mache mask with a tempera paint face, a total piece of crap at best.
 But I sure did feel like a dirty old mean old man after scaring that little
girl.  I honestly thought the kids would think it was totally silly and squeal
with laughter.  The best laid mice of men and plans...
