Excellent! This is a great historical contribution for the record. You  don't 
see much new information about Octave gear. It seems like a lot of  people 
know about it, own it, or have used it. While I groan at the mention  of 
software, I have to admire Carmine for keeping ahead of the  curve and helping to 
define the future.
 
-Karl. (the anonymous guy who posted the first and only review to  date of 
anything Octave (the CAT SRM) on Harmony-central .  Note: I did make a mistake 
in that posting, the CAT is not two voice, but  two note/ oscillator, because 
it has one  filter).
