Oh, no, there you have 512b per waveform :)

The longest multicycle waves on the SQ80 have ~4kB, IIRC.

That part I don't understand. Where's the relationship between latency 
and ISA or PCI? The latency you experience on modern PCs is an effect of 
the OS, not the bus.
