Pretty big if!  If you are shooting for better than 1% THD, then your input 
tri must be accurate to a better level than this.  Usually there are 
frequency-dependent offsets, skew, switching glitches, and amplitude 
variations that you would have to manage pretty carefully, it seems to me.
