For curosity sake, here is the results of the survey!

> 0) sys admin. How many users on the list now?

No response. No SysAdm to count - or they are busy. I got a response
of 3 answers which, assuming normal return size, means there is
between 30 and 300 of us. I would lean toward the low end as the
group is more apt to respond than normal. Lets call it 45.

> 1) http://home.sprintmail.com/~daugard/freds1.htm is the table of
> contents for the book. Will you buy a copy in PDF format for
$10.00 US

1 - No, 1 - Yes, 1 - Maybe but would rather have hard copy. If I
include my self in the survey, the overwhelming preference is hard
copy. However, I prefer data sheets as PDF files.

> 2) Would you pay $25.00 plus shipping for laser printed version
> 8.5 x 11 double sided printed punched for a three ring binder

This is the prefered format for the book. Standard printed version
of a book.

> 3) Would you pay $29.00 for same as 2 with single sided printing -
> (easier to copy and plenty of room for notes.

Answers: No. This is heartening. No one wants pages set so they can
be easily scanned or photocopied.

> 4) Would you buy the front panel labels preprinted on Denison
label
> paper for $5 (Standard set - 4 pages) or $1.50 per page from the

Response to this really doesn't matter. It goes back to front panel
layouts, front panel labels, etc. Everyone has there own
preferences.

> 6) Bonus questions:

> 6a) I have a patch collection printed that goes with the book. I
> think it's up to 150 patches - 1 per page. Any interest.

No/Maybe

> 6b) How an Audio CD with the sound of patches.

No/Maybe

> 6c) I have an enginnering manual that has all the modules in
Fred's
> primer and all the circuits that didn't work so well and those for
> Fred's second

Some interest in this book, and one person who thinks all three
items should be bundled and sold for $5 to $10 more. The items in
question six are actually an extensive collection that was edited
down to create Fred's 1st. They couldn't be sold for lest than what
Fred's is.

> 6d) Why should I share any hard earned knowledge?

This was a bogus question. The child in me demanding feedback. I
didn't get some nice answers.
