[sdiy] pd650 - do all the Roland applicaitons use an identical chip?

I wonder if the ROM on these devices is programmed with a single mask layer,
and if it's the top layer on the die.
If so, a sacrifical 303 CPU, a beaker of sulphuric acid and a microscope
could reveal the firmware...
