Another program for windows that doesn't require ghostscript is CutePDF.
it's a free print driver that works with any program straight to PDF. I
have some open source program mbtPdfAsm (sourceforge.net) that merges
PDFs from different print jobs. I'm using this to make PDFs from Kicad,
MathCAD, MS Word, and others. no problems so far.
