[sdiy] OTA book on eBay/A useful distinction

Some observations on this thread.

The copyright belongs to Jim Henry.

He has the moral and legal right to do with it, (or not) as he wishes, until
copyright expires. Then the rules change.

He does not manufacture/distribute it at present.

As it's a desirable and excellent thing, people want it.

If we want it, we'd be happy to pay for it.

Stealing it is wrong.

To my knowledge, JH hasn't responded publicly on this list.

If there really is enough interest here in the book, someone on the synth
DIY list with the relevant know-how could contact Jim, and offer to make it
available for sale at a price and in a form that's acceptable to him, with
all profits after manufacture/distribution going straight back to Jim.

Or maybe it's simply more fun just to debate this ad infinitum......

Dave

(Oops, - quick, where's the fire extinguisher...... :-)
