[sdiy] A useful distinction

Hi Aaron!
Personally, I have a different, perhaps not so nice distinction:
1) the author is an asshole about the product
2) the author is not an asshole about the product
Not implying anything with Tom, I still have to say that if he doesn't
communicate about his book, we don't know which one is the case. So
misjudgments will take place...
I bet Tom is a great person, but lack of most basic common-sense
marketing is hurting him, his books, his clients, and the sdiy
community (not to imply that he's doing this on purpose - it's more
like a passive unknowing innocent harm kind of thing 8) ). I
hope we can all find a better way of dealing with things in the
future!
cheers,
D.(8
