I think that's precisely defined by copyright law, actually...I think it's
75 years or something like that. I think that may be a bit long,
personally...
There was some mutterings about congrees considering legislation to extend
it beyond 75 years, which sounds like an awful idea.
Martin Luther King's estate was been rather vicious about people using
recordings of King's speeches in different contexts. I think that's
annoying, having given him a holiday and all... ;)
