Why all that fancy stuff? What happened to your DIY spirit?
A lot of functions can be taken over by a handful of relays.  :-))

Which reminds me... I still have a lot of those little Philicorda 
lamps that were used as tone generators.
Anybody has schematics to use them as replacement for a CEM VCO?
