[sdiy] Strobe Tuner

Got this Conn "StroboTuner" and I'm thinking I'll use it to calibrate 
this Jupiter-8.
I use my 4 1/2 DMM counter and my ears, but I'm willing to try both 
the 'lissajous' method in the SN and or a combination of all 4 'tools'.

Question. I know what a nightmare these beasts can be , room temp 
changes and other variables, so I 'd like this to go as smoothly as possible.

Oh , how do I know the Conn is even calibrated ? What do you guys use 
as a reference frequency ? Is this your X-input to the scope ?
